Cutting-edge educator, aspiring best-selling author, and dynamic motivational speaker
Dr. Motivate lives by the philosophy that “education is the key to success, and as leaders, it’s our responsibility to leave a legacy of empowerment through education so that our children and generations to come will be empowered.” His passion to make a difference in the lives of others has quickly spread and continues to spread as he impacts the lives of more and more individuals around the World.
Dr. Motivate’s service to the at-risk student population began with his first education appointment in Fort Bend ISD, where he served as a Special Education Teacher, a Department Head/ Social Skills Teacher, and a Coach for the District. While in those roles, he was given the opportunity to develop and implement an abstinence program, a social skill/self-efficacy curriculum, fundraising events, and facilitated a discipline review committee for at-risk students. As a member of the District Leadership Team, Dr. Motivate was key to improving the focus on student academics and campus safety objectives. His dedication and commitment lead to accolades from Fort Bend ISD, which included Rookie Teacher of the Year, and Campus Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Motivate also served as Assistant Principal in Alief ISD, where he was acknowledged for bringing others together for one common purpose, and his ability to motivate and inspire others. While in this role, he helped to boost test scores by implementing a reading tutorial program. Dr. Motivate believes, “it simply takes determination, perseverance, structure, and a community to believe in these students and then success is inevitable.”
Dr. Motivate successfully served in the capacity of School Administrator for over a decade. He is currently a Leadership and Culture Training Director at Universal Plant Services, where he writes a leadership curriculum that impacts the Oil & Gas Industry.
He is the author of several scholarly publications focused on education. Brown’s Model of Ethics: National Impact, gave readers across the nation an opportunity to view Dr. Brown’s in-depth analysis of ethics and testing standards. Other publications are titled: An Exploration of Ten Salient Ideas as Presented by Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged Supported by Virtues of Selfishness, Brown-Skinner Model for Building Trust with At-Risk Students and National Implications for applying Transitional Leadership in a Postmodern Paradigm for Education in the United States of America.
Dr. Motivate is the CEO of Brown and Associates Professional Training and Leadership Development LLC. Through this company he is helping to train current and next generation leaders to become the best that any eye has ever seen and any ear has ever heard.
Dr. Motivate attended the University of Arkansas on a football scholarship and obtained the following degrees from Prairie View A&M University: Bachelor of Science, Master of Education Administration, Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a Superintendent concentration. While attending Prairie View A&M University in the years of 2000-2003, Dr. Brown played football and served as Vice President of Alpha Phi Omega. He also serves as the Executive Director of Believe Incorporated, a non-profit 501C3 organization that is allowing him to give back to his Community through sponsored summer activities for underprivileged students.
Dr. Motivate is not only an educational leader, but he is also a loving husband to Samantha and father of two, Zoe and Diesel.
